miriama-smith-lola-swimwear2.jpgIn the yearly list by New Zealand’s Woman’s Magazine, Miriama Smith came up top trumps to win the title of best dressed female.

In the magazine, “David Hartnell presents his infamous best and worst dressed list and reveals the Kiwi celebs whose style impressed, perplexed or horrified him most in 2008″. (Quote from Women’s Weekly online). According to online articles Hartnell says actress-turned-dancer Smith looks better the less she wears.

beth-allen-serious-shorty.jpgWell, she’s named as one of them!

As you’ll know numerous New Zealand stars are banding together in the performance of The Eight: Reindeer Monologues. In an article from stuff.co.nz  Beth is named as one of the brains behind the idea…

The idea of uniting New Zealand’s best actors in one festive package of fun came from Beth Allen, actor Charlie McDermott and producer John Moffett who are putting the show together.

Nice job! Beth’s boyfriend Charlie (pictured here) is also acting and co-producing in the show. Amongst the cast are three former Tribe stars; Beth herself, Antonia Prebble and Fleur Saville. Full article with Beth Allen quotes can be read here and also below.

ari-boyland-with-power-rangers-rpm-cast-01.jpg ari-boyland-with-power-rangers-rpm-cast-02.jpgRumours are afoot on the web that Ari Boyland could be joining other cast members of The Tribe as becoming a core cast member in The Power Rangers series.

More info on this rumor can be found here; written from the images posted originally here. The rumours came about as Ari was pictured with cast members of the Power Rangers series.

According to his agency page, Ari has featured in a previous Power Rangers series, but as a minor uncredited character. So if you know which episode/where he featured at, let me know! There won’t be any official cast confirmation for the line-up till later on in the year.

The new series of Power Rangers is called Power Rangers R.P.M. What the RPM means I have no clue. What colour  Ranger would Ari will be, who knows? Green? Blue? Maybe he’ll be a baddie? I’m sure it’ll be revealed in time. I’m not as clued up as some people are on the Power Rangers, I know the basics, so my bad if there’s any errors here.

Go Go Power Rangers!  ;)
