Fleur Saville, Libby Jeffries in Shortland Street, recently joined fellow members of the Shorty cast in a photoshoot at Auckland Zoo. She joined Will Hall, Harry McNaughton, Anna Julliene and Henry Williams at the zoo to trial their up-close experience tours.

Antonia Prebble was pictured with Outrageous Fortune co-star Craig Hall, at the opening night for the theatre production ‘Life Is A Dream’. The production is on at the Herald Theatre, Auckland.

Ari sure has grown up since those days as KC in The Tribe, but the Irish Scottish accent is so strong! – It is convincing. He’s done a good job.

The Power Rangers series, which has been filmed in New Zealand since 2003, has currently been dropped by Disney. The series has featured numerous New Zealand actors, including from The Tribe: Tom Hern, Miriama Smith, Dwayne Cameron, James Napier, Beth Allen and Antonia Prebble.
Ari Boyland is currently featured in the latest series, Power Rangers RPM, as the Blue Ranger. It premieres today in America, hopefully it’ll be downloadable tomorrow!
Though the future of power Rangers is unclear, it is a shame if it came to a definite end in New Zealand as the series gave us a chance to see many of The Tribe cast again. According to the Sunday Star Times the cast of Outrageous Fortune are in a contract row over pay issues and things have worsened after an Australian acting union involved themselves in the negotiations for the New Zealand show. The Tribe’s Antonia Prebble plays Loretta West in the Kiwi drama and has featured in the series since it began. The fifth series is showing this year in NZ.

Vanessa Stacey, known as Alice in The Tribe, is well known for her acting in TV, film and theatre as well as her singing. She is part of the music group Whiskey & Sly, who are ‘warm, wet and good for you’.
As mentioned, she is no stranger to music, she featured on various tracks on The Tribe album doing backing vocals and in 2005 was featured on the album
Quinessence by The Nomad (aka Daimon Schwalger).

Radio station ZMTV has interviewed Shortland Street star Beth Allen, Brooke Freeman. In the lengthy interview Beth is questioned about family, acting, being a geek and life.
