Ella Wilks : The Tribe : 10 Year Anniversary Interview!

Ella Wilks as Danni in The TribeElla Wilks arrived in The Tribe series 2 as Danni. Her first moments in the series involved holding a crossbow and aiming it at our hero Bray. She integrated herself herself into the Mallrats though, but her presence was under scrutiny by her fellow Tribe members – in the same way the character was scrutinised by fans as being too ‘Amber-like’…

Ella WilksIn the interview Ella talks about getting into the character of Danni, working on and leaving the show, her friendship with fellow cast members as well as an insight to her travels and future plans. You may have loved hating Danni, but you gotta love Ella Wilks; to me this is the best interview so far – probably my biased opinion as I’ve always been a Danni fan ; )

That was a brilliant interview! so it wa Antonia, Beth and Victoria who arranged the cast reunion and not Cloud 9. Oh well. I have Ella looks so georgeous, that black and white shot of her is lovely.

Thanks for the brilliant interview, I’m so looking forward to reading more and more. Also thanks to Ella for being fantastic! Also she gave you use of the reunion pics, which I reckon is great. I think I’ll be sending her a piece of fanmail :D

Well isnt she just lovely! Really, definatly my favourite interview so far, I’m tempted to send her some fanmail myself now.

    That was a great interview!

I found it interesting that she already met and knew Beth Allen before the reunion. She says she knew her from the tribal days… So I’m guessing they must have met and got to know each other at some party or something back in The Tribe days.

Anyway, I have to agree this interview has to be the best so far! I would love to see her do more acting work, she did a grand job as Danni in The Tribe.

I loved this bit… “The singing I do nowadays involves quite a few wines, a microphone and a screen with words on it, but who doesn’t like a bit of karaoke torture every now and then?”

    Ah… I’m in love.

Okay last thing, thank you for putting the links to Danni’s pre-tribe up. How did you find those? Because they are not listed on the Tribeworld pre-tribe menu, or anywhere else. Well, I’m going to get reading it now. I want to watch series 2 now.
    Thanks.

  • Well, I bet you enjoyed doing that interview ;) If I remember rightly you had quite a thing for Ms. Wilks a few years back. Not that I can blame you of course.

Sounds like the cast are still friends, but there’s still that nagging behind that says there were some big fallings out that lead to her leaving. Shame. Good character and I would of loved to have seen Amber and Danni meet.

    Ah, well.

  • Hah hah stop it, your embaressing me. Nah I just loved the character Danni, she was awesome.
Cheers for the comments peeps, glad your enjoying the interview : )

I know it’s been a while but any chance that this interview can be re-upped? As it’s no longer available.

    Thanks

  • I’m sorry Simmian, the whole 10 year anniversary section just disappeared! It’s all back up now, my bad.
