Beth Allen, along with her boyfriend Charlie McDermott, will be on stage together in the play Killer Joe by Tracy Letts.
Beth and Charlie play a brother and sister in the play, though according to Beth “There is a edge of inappropriateness to Dottie and Chris’s relationship. It is a totally different character to Brooke on Shortland Street; Dottie is sexually unaware, while at the same time providing some of the play’s most shocking moments.”

The production will run in September 11th – October 3rd 2009, with an opening/preview night on the 10th September, running at The Basement theatre in Auckland. The website does not have info on the play yet though.
