Miriama Smith and several other well known New Zealand celebs (who I don’t know as I’m not from NZ) have banded together to record a song for the charity event The Big Night In to be held on the 8th and 9th August 2009. Check the video out for ‘Thank You For The Love’ below, it’s sort of a behind-the-scenes/recording the song music video. (The video starts 10 seconds in!)
It looks more like a scene from Jacquie Brown! The Big Night In Telethon 2009 is similar to UK charity events Children In Need & Comic Relief, whereby celebs take part in a TV special to help raise awareness for charity and entertain viewers for donations. The main charity for this event is the KidsCan charity. The event will run for 23 hours straight on TV3, the last similar event was ran 15 years ago in NZ.
Miriama Smith will also be hosting in the charity event. For more, join the Facebook group here. With thanks to Kate (BethAllen.Webs) for the info.

They dont seem that grateful to me mind you most of them are actors….
You’re right Jessica. I think they should reshoot the video.
But hey good on them for their charity work! :)
It’s We Are The World, New Zealand style!
Yeah, re-shooting would be a good idea. But the song is ok
