Shortland Street Updates : Beth On Dad : New Fleur Pics

Fleur Saville Libby Jeffries Shortland Street

Last week there was an article on the Shortland Street website where the cast talked about their Father’s for a NZ Father’s Day special… Beth Allen (Brooke Freeman in Shorty/Tribe’s Amber) talked about her pops who definitely sounds like a top bloke, the article is here and pasted below. Also on the Shorty website were a few lovely pics of Fleur Saville (Libby Jeffries in Shorty/Tribe 5′s Ruby) posing on a new set design, check the pics out here and here.

And just a final bit of news, Sally Martin, who had a brief role in series 4 of The Tribe as ‘paid for bimbo’ Kandy, is joining the cast of Shortland Street. I’m not sure if she will be a permanent fixture though. Her most well known character to date is the Blue Wind Ranger, Tori Hanson, in Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

Beth Allen
What qualities do you love most about your dad?
He’s utterly dedicated to our family; crazy-smart; hardworking like you wouldnt believe; straightforward; fun and funny.

What is one of your favourite memories spent with your dad?
I was three years old, floaties on, being taken into the surf with Dad and floated on the waves. I am pretty sure its why I am still such a water-baby!

What are you going to do for your dad on Father’s Day this year?
Pretend that’s not why were there for dinner, because he hates being made a fuss of!
