![]() It’s like being reunited with an old friend you haven’t seen for a long, long, long time. It’s time to re-live those early mornings of watching Cloe clutching her teddy bear as she trembles in fear of the fast approaching Loco’s before Amber and Dal swoop in to rescue her… Sunday October 4th 2009 will see The Tribe return to it’s home on UK TV broadcaster Five. Episode one of series one will be broadcast, running from 11.35am to 12.05pm. Aswell as The Tribe the Shake! teen-strand is going to be re-introduced, with a line-up including Disney show Hannah Montana. However, according to this article on Broadcast Now, the schedule will be a trial run through to the end of the year, so if it is not successful the shows may not finish broadcasting. But, thank you channel Five regardless, hopefully new fans will join the series and it will hopefully re-ignite The Tribe franchise. So wether you’re nursing a Saturday night hangover, bored, need a brief trip back in time, or even if you’re a Power Ranger fan, do tune in to The Tribe! Featuring hot New Zealand talent in some of their first mainstream TV roles; including Beth Allen, Dwayne Cameron, Antonia Prebble, Meryl Cassie, Ari Boyland, Michelle Ang and Caleb Ross. Check out the lovely pic of Megan Alatini performing the South African national anthem at the Rugby 2009 Tri-Nations final. She is dressed in a gorgeous traditional South African outfit. Her singing must have gone down a treat as the South African Sprinboks went on to win the trophy in their match against the New Zealand All Blacks. Megan also performed with her sisters Monique and Meryl Cassie in the half time show. Sadly there are no pics (as yet!) of the Nubian Angelz. [edit] You can find out about the gorgeous tribal necklace Megan is wearing in the pic at Born To Bead, the piece designed by Lisa-Jane looks awesome up close! ![]() The Cult is being tipped to be the next hottest thing on New Zealand TV, following on from Outrageous Fortune. Dwayne Cameron stars in the new series which has been dubbed as ‘Lost meets Prison Break’. Check out the promotional photo images below, they featured on NZHerald’s website. Oh and here’s another sexy pic of Dwayne and co-star Danielle Cormack at the series premiere! The series will be shown on TV2 in New Zealand on September 24th at 8.30pm. According to his agency profile he plays the character Kur. I’m not sure he is a permanent or guest cast member in season two, but do keep an eye out for him and get back to me please :) Previously Jacob Tomuri featured in season 1 episode 15 of Legend Of The Seeker as Lieutenant Bram (more on that here) as well as doing stunt work on the show. |
