Shortland Street co-stars Beth Allen and Fleur Saville, Brooke Freeman and Libby Jeffries, joined fellow Shorty Stars at the launch party of a Rosé by the No.1 Family Estate. I believe the event was held on Tuesday 20th October at Mollies Boutique Hotel. The gorgeous pic of Fleur and Beth appeared on the Shortland Street Facebook page.
The girls look fab together, cast them as sisters!
More info of the lavish event can be found here. With thanks to Ross for pointing them out to me! There’s also more pics of Fleur Saville and Beth Allen on promotional trips to Auckland Zoo, to compliment previously articles posted on the blog here and here.
Word on the street is that Miriama Smith will be featuring in season 2 of Legend Of The Seeker in the guest role of Du Chaillu in episode 8 entitled “Light”, the news is confirmed in her presenter biography on Jason & Laird.
Lets hope she doesn’t meet a sticky end like Jacob Tomuri did in his on screen appearance in season 1 of Seeker. With Dwayne Cameron also landing a role in the second season, this may just be a ‘must watch series’ for me!
You’ll be forgiven for thinking this was a Reservoir Hill fansite, but I just love the series! On November 30th, Beth Chote and the series creators David Stubbs & Thomas Robins appeared together on the Good Morning show on TVNZ, here’s what they had to say about making Reservoir Hill…

Quiet interesting the timeframe they are given to write and make the new content for the series. Beth Chote is definitely enjoying the role and the challenge of the series. Good on her, she’s fab in the show!

With thanks to KiwiFruit2009 you can watch Reservoir Hill, New Zealand’s awesome new interactive series starring Beth Chote, on YouTube! Check the first episode out below…

Michelle Ang (who played Tai-San in The Tribe), in an article in New Zealand’s Woman’s Weekly, openly talks about suffering from endometriosis. The article (pasted below) details the journey it took for Michelle to discover she was suffering from endometriosis as well as about talking about living with her boyfriend, photographer, Sam Nixon in New York.
This post has been back dated, with thanks to Jebrill of Tribe-Cast.com for the article.
You may also be aware that Michelle’s co-star in William Shatner’s Twist In The Tale (The Green Dress), Jessie Gurunathan (also played farm girl Dawn in The Tribe) was also diagnosed with endometriosis. It can be more common than it is thought to be.
