I would have posted this earlier, but I wanted to watch it before putting it up on the site. And now that I’ve seen it, I have to say it is pretty awesome stuff! The storyline picks on straight after The Tribe series 5, so we find out what the Mall Rats are up to since the virus hit the city…

The editing is very slick, the guys did the best job they could given their schedule and locations available to film the series. Out of the characters Rae is definitely my favourite and is very convincing. The storyline of the Mall Rats running alongside the Techno prisoners is pretty smart. . . Kudos to them all for ‘Keeping The Dream Alive’.

Fractured Alliance - Keeping The Dream Alive

Currently the first three episodes are up, with the remaining three going up tomorrow (new years day). Click here to check them out, you know you want to! This is also the final production from Sector 4, so it looks they’ve gone out with a bang, I’m pretty sure Raymond Thompson himself would be proud of the hard work gone into it.

The cast comprised of:  Lance Mitchell (Override), Wendy Young (Sienna), Simon Evans (Drake), Paul Adams (Crow), Matt Johnston (Finn), Gemma Louise McGowan (Rae) and Lianne McCauley (Siryn) with vocals by Emma D (Pixel) and speical voice star Matt Robinson (Slade).

Dwayne Cameron : Legend Of The Seeker : Video Clip

As you’ll know Dwayne Cameron appeared earlier this month in The Legend Of The Seeker. He was in the episode ‘Fury’, season 2 episode 6, playing the character Kur and appeared throughout the episode. Here’s a clip of him in action…

Great news is that the episode Dwayne appeared in had the highest viewing figures for a Legend Of The Seeker episode in season 2.

From TV By Numbers:

Legend of the Seeker fans, the show’s sixth episode (from the weekend of Dec-12-13) didn’t make the top 25, but its 2.671 million average viewers was a season high and up almost 400,000 from the previous week and about around 90,000 higher than the season two premiere which had previously been the season’s high.

James Napier : Go Girls Video Clip

Earlier this year James Napier appeared in the TVNZ series Go Girls as the character Mark. Here’s a clip of James in a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment from series 1, episode 12.

Beth Allen : Back To The 50′s!

There’s a cool interview with Beth Allen in New Zealand’s New Idea magazine. In the article she and other Shortland Street ladies get glammed up into 1950′s Summerwear. where she talks about Summer, dressing-up, Christmas and acting… There’s also a wee mention of The Tribe in there too…

What’s the craziest dress-up costume you’ve ever worn?
I wore some pretty crazy stuff when I was on The Tribe as a teenager….calfskin suits, huge combat boots and lots of feathers.

Too read the full article pop over to BethAllen.Webs, also check out the site’s cool new look! Images from Shortland Street. This post has been back dated.

The Kamaishi brass band sound amazing amazing as does Megan during the performance. I’m not sure entirely about this event as we don’t have much details, would be cool to find out who the guy is she is performing with too.

Megan is also joined the stage by her and Pita Alatini’s daughters, Tonica and Tiara, and her son Trey.

Harry Duffin : A Tribal Revival Interview

Tribe Revival earlier this week posted an interview with Harry Duffin. Check it out here (if you haven’t done so already!).

Unfortunately he was unable to go into detail with all the questions put forward to him, mainly the ones concerning The Blood Of Judas, The Tribe 6 and a Tribe Movie. But he did however give an insight into the casting side of things as well as talk about the ‘yin and yang’ of The Tribe – Amber and Ebony.

Also if you missed it earlier on in the year, check out the 10 years anniversary interview with Harry Duffin here on tribeHeaven.
