Take Off With Captain Allen!

Beth Allen - Brooke Freeman in Shortland Street - Worldflight
In a charity event for the Rescue Helicopter Trust, New Zealand celebs, including Beth Allen (Brooke Freeman in Shortland Street/The Tribe’s Amber) will be piloting a Boeing 737 flight simulator. And you can be sitting right next to her as the co-pilot!

A flight simulator is the experience of flying a plane without actually being in one. On Saturday 10th April one lucky person will meet Beth Allen and join her in the flight simulator, Beth will be acting as the pilot and the other person co-pilot. To be that lucky person you have to win an online charity auction (yep it’ll cost you – but it’s for a good cause!). The auction is online @ Sella.co.nz. It would also help if you lived in New Zealand!

You can read a profile about the lovely Beth Allen at WorldFlight.co.nz (pasted below) and find out more about the charity Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust here. There’s also a press release here. Continue reading…
