Beth Allen : A Sinful Monologue to The Vagina Monologues...

The Sinful Monologues featuring Beth AllenBeth Allen has recently been on stage in the Lily Richards & Thomas Sainsbury produced The Sinful Monologues. The production ran at Te Karanga Gallery in Auckland during 25th to 27th May 2010.

The Sinful Monologues cover the seven deadly sins, each monologue is written by a different writer. The TheatReView said the following of Beth Allen who performs the monologue Lilith, written by Lily Richards:

Lilith
Lilith gets to the fiery gates of Hell and has quite a lot to say for herself before she signs God’s contract. Beth Allen plays a feisty Lilith, in Lily Richards’ light-n-tasty treatise on the original battle of the sexes.

In another featured article The TheatReView talked about forth coming Beth Allen projects:

Beth is currently on the telly playing Brooke Freeman on Shortland Street, where she gets to wear killer heels and say nasty things. She’s producing and acting in The Vagina Monologues at The Basement Theatre in August and doing the same for a Christmas show written by Natalie Medlock and Dan Musgrove in December. She loves Lamebook.com, new stationery and poached pears.

Beth Allen - Brooke Freeman in Shortland StreetSo in August Beth Allen will be in the Vagina Monologues and in December looks like she’ll be doing more comedy with comedians Natalie Medlock and Dan Musgrove (they recently worked with Fleur).
