Check out these lovely promo images for the Auckland 2010 stage production of The Vagina Monologues. The VM features a plethora of talented New Zealand actors, amongst them Antonia Prebble (Outrageous Fortunes Loretta West/Trudy in The Tribe), Beth Allen (Shortland Street’s Dr Brooke Freeman/Tribe’s Amber) and Fleur Saville (Shortys Libby Jeffries/Being Eve/Tribe’s Ruby).

The full cast of The Vagina Monologues have been been split into teams of four and when you turn up at the Basement you won’t know which four will perform the monologues for you on the night… However, the comments on this pic here reveal the nights Beth Allen will be on stage! I have booked for opening night on 25th thinking Beth would be there, me and my BF are Shorty fans lol. Hey oh well, might go with the girls for another night.

It’s weird. I’ve never been to New Zealand or watch any other NZ show. Yet half those names in the cast list are familiar to me from reading this blog all these months!!!
Beth Allen will be in the show only on Thursday August 26th, Tuesday August 31st, Saturday September 4th and Thursday September 9th
