 Wow! Back in 2008 we had the news that Michelle Ang appeared on a TV series called The Sitting, where famous New Zealander’s were interviewedpainted by artist Marty Welch. Well, Marty has recently uploaded all the episodes of his series online, so here is Michelle’s episode… 
Michelle talks about how she got into acting, talks a bit about The Tribe, Xena, Outrageous Fortune and also about acting issues like type-casting.  Michelle Ang has done a video interview with AsiansOnFilm.com In the (recent) interview Michelle talks about The Tribe, The Tribe fans and her take on the series! It’s great hearing her talk about it after such a long time. In this interview video she also talks about getting her role in Neighbours, being in and leaving Outrageous Fortune (she actually asked to be written out of the series!), getting her role in Big Momma’s 3 and also how she got to be in the short film The Potential Wives Of Norman Mao. It’s a shame they didn’t ask about her role as lesbian characer Lily Zee in South Of Nowhere, as that was an interesting guest role she had, post Outrageous Fortune.  Check out the trailer for Holding The Sun, a short movie written, directed, produced and featuring Dwayne Cameron.

He’ll be playing the beast (named Vincent Koslow) in American network CW’s Beauty And The Beast. He’ll star opposite Smallville (and Edgemont!) star Kristin Kreuk who is playing Catherine Chandler – the beauty.
Here’s a preview video of the series, aimed at the Vampire Diaries/Twilight/Gossip Girl audience: More recently Jay Ryan appeared in a guest role on Terra Nova. Back in New Zealand he was the lead male in the TV series Go Girls. He starred in Australian soap Neighbours as Jack Scully playing the boyfriend to Michelle Ang’s Lori Lee.
