Oh how cool, Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley posted on his tumblr that in certain points of the book the character Envy Adams’ hairstyle was inspired by Amber from The Tribe!
From his tumblr:
“hey while I was digging around I found this unused Brie Larson / Envy Adams hairstyle from early hair & makeup tests for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
She has her hair like this in parts of the book, which I fully admit was inspired by Amber from The Tribe.” – Bryan Lee O’Malley

The writer also wrote in a reference to The Tribe in Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, the final book in the comic book series.
Yeah, the news is not The Tribe cast related, but hey it’s cool and wouldn’t it be awesome if O’Malley could get his hands on The Tribe characters and do a Tribe comic?
