Oh how cool, Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley posted on his tumblr that in certain points of the book the character Envy Adams’ hairstyle was inspired by Amber from The Tribe!
From his tumblr:
“hey while I was digging around I found this unused Brie Larson / Envy Adams hairstyle from early hair & makeup tests for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
She has her hair like this in parts of the book, which I fully admit was inspired by Amber from The Tribe.” – Bryan Lee O’Malley

The Tribe will officially be released on DVD, Stateside, on March 13th 2012 by the distributor Shout! Factory.
As a four-disc box set, it will comprise of the first 26 episodes of season 1 of The Tribe. (No word has been said yet of a part 2 box set).
The only thing I can judge right now is the artwork, and I’m loving the it! It’s a shame it’s not the full series in one set. But who knows, with the ongoing revival of The Tribe, hopefully the new boxsets will have more special features? (Fingers crossed for commentaries!)
You can pre-order the boxset, right now, from Amazon.com by clicking here.
With thanks to Ryan M. for the info via Facebook.

Fans unable to make the signings and are dying to ask Dwayne something, head over to the ABC3 message boards for a special topic on questions to ask Dwayne. Your question maybe picked and put forward to Dwayne while during his appearance on Studio3.

On January 30th Dwayne Cameron, who played Bray in series 1 to 3 of The Tribe, appeared on The Tribe’s official Facebook page to chat with fans.
Here is the transcript I made from the chat. I have done my best to edit it in the time I have had. I had to guess some of the questions asked, because there were so many asked I don’t have time to go through the pages on Facebook to find the exact questions.
Also the names of some people are missing, this is because of the way Facebook displayed the page and the way questions were answered, so I’m sorry if your name is missing from a question you asked.
Dwayne stayed longer than the initial hour he had set aside to chat to fans. Also instead of one winner of a phone call to chat with him, Dwayne gave opportunity to another fan to win a chat with him and also Raymond Thompson who was present during his fan chat. Gotta love the guy!
To make it easier to read, the transcript is split into various sections… Enjoy! Continue reading…
