Another new video is up, this time from the hilarious New Zealand comedy series The Jaquie Brown Diaries.
The clip features Antonia Prebble and is taken from the episode ‘Brown Sweat’. Continue reading… With thanks to Kate of AmberAngel (always the best for Beth news!). On the 28th January, Beth Allen attended the premiere for New Zealand movie The Map Reader you can view images of her at the even here, here and here. The event was held at the Academy Cinemas, Auckland. Two days later, January 30th 2009, saw the film premiere of Tom Cruise’s new movie Valkyrie in Auckland. Numerous former Tribe cast members were there… Beth Allen, Antonia Prebble, Fleur Saville, Miriama Smith and also Lee Donoghue (who was Spike in The Tribe – he has since been a long running star of Shortland Street). The photo of Beth and Antonia is just fantastic, Beth looks amazing! The event was held at the MOTAT (Museum Of Transport & Technology). Photos from Sunday Star Times and also theAlist.co.nz. It sure is It’s tricky keeping up with all the cast, good job there’s other sites with all the info.
Outrageous Fortune star Antonia Prebble (Loretta West) has been nominated in The TV Guide Best On The Box awards, as a contendee for the Best Actress. More info is here. The last lot of Ella Wilks’ photos from The Tribe cast reunion went up last night, click here to check them all out, the newer ones are at the bottom of the page. The new pics feature Ashwath Sundarasen (Dal), Ella (Danni), Sarah Major (Patsy), Dwayne Cameron (Bray), Antonia Prebble (Trudy), Nick Miller (Pride), Jennyfer Jewell (Ellie), Michael Wesley Smith (Jack) and Beth Allen (Amber).
Antonia Prebble, who plays Loretta West in the much loved drama, was interviewed with fellow Westies Siobhan Marshall (Pascalle West) and Frank Whitten (Ted West). Antonia talked about working on the show and the character Loretta. The interview was held on set in the Rusty Nail Tavern – a local hot spot in the show. The video clip of Antonia’s interview is on youTube here. Okay, you’re probably bored of the blog by now, but who cares! I’m bored in my office, so I’m searching the web… And I found pics of the girls on the catwalk! Beth Allen is wearing a design by Hailwood, the girl always looks fantastic in those sequinned numbers. Meanwhile Antonia Prebble was sporting a design by WORLD. Get it, she’s sporting it? Because it’s sports wear… Oh never mind. Antonia was accessorised with a stunning Swarovski crystal-encrusted soccer ball also by WORLD, or maybe the ball was accessorised by the Prebble? Either way it’s a shame the photo is poor quality. Yeah the photos are crappy in quality, you may find better ones given time, but this is it, I don’t think I’ll be posting anything more to do with the adiCouture ’08 KidsCan fashion show. Case closed. Images thanks to Fashion NZ. Edit: I’ve just updated the page and added the images released by KidsCan. The girls have both been named, in the final line up, as performer’s for Coca-Cola’s Christmas In The Park ’08. The event is in Auckland on 13th December. Meryl Cassie will be performing What Time Is It? (from High School Musical) with Drew Neemia, Catherine Campion, Anthony Utama, Cameron Douglas & Jodie Clarke. She features in the first act starting from 7.30pm. Btw, Drew Neemia guest starred in The Tribe series 3 as the trader Fisheye. Antonia Prebble will be performing Twist And Shout with Shane Cortese, Tammy Davis, Siobhan Marshall, & D.I.V.A. They perform in the second act which commences at 9pm. Out of the two I have to say Meryl’s is the one I’d love to see! Hope the girl does good. More info can be found on the website here and the souvenir programme for the show here which I’ve mirrored here. Antonia Prebble gave an interview to radio station 95bFM on 3rd December about The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, Outrageous Fortune and the theatre. It’s alright, she speaks about the play and her role. The interviewer is a bit hesitant in his delivery… You can download the interview here.
