Shortland Street hotty Owen Black, who plays Ethan Pierce, has rated Beth’s kissing skills from pash scene’s he’s had with her on the show…

Beth and I had a very good working relationship. One of the first scenes we had was a big pashing scene, and it can be difficult with a complete stranger, but Beth is a great actress and we had a lot of fun.
Beth Allen plays the character Brooke Freeman. There’s a little more in the article where Owen mentions Beth, it has been pasted below, the full article can be read here. Continue Reading »

Okay, you’re probably bored of the blog by now, but who cares! I’m bored in my office, so I’m searching the web… And I found pics of the girls on the catwalk!

Beth Allen is wearing a design by Hailwood, the girl always looks fantastic in those sequinned numbers. Meanwhile Antonia Prebble was sporting a design by WORLD. Get it, she’s sporting it? Because it’s sports wear… Oh never mind. Antonia was accessorised with a stunning Swarovski crystal-encrusted soccer ball also by WORLD, or maybe the ball was accessorised by the Prebble? Either way it’s a shame the photo is poor quality.
Yeah the photos are crappy in quality, you may find better ones given time, but this is it, I don’t think I’ll be posting anything more to do with the adiCouture ‘08 KidsCan fashion show.
Case closed. Images thanks to Fashion NZ.

Found a pic of Beth at the charity fashion show.
Still not found any photos of Antonia Prebble.
If you keep an eye out on their site you may find some soon.
I’m not sure who Beth is pictured with, she kinda looks like Martine McCutcheon! Though I’m sure it ain’t.
For Maxine Memorial Charitable Trust a charity event will be held. Highlights of the event include an auction where you can win lunch with Harry McNaughton and Fleur Saville from Shortland St. Guests named to attend include Antonia Prebble and Beth Allen.
The charity event will be held on December 6 from 12-5pm at the Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland. The full press release by the Maxine van der Velden Trust can be read here.
More Beth Allen news today… In support of the KidsCan StandTall Charitable Trust a fashion show will be held, featuring a “couture collection from New Zealand’s hottest designers created exclusively for the adidas originals brand”. Date: 4th December.
Beth Allen and Antonia Prebble have both been named as models for the event. Last year Fleur Saville modelled in the show. If you’re in Auckland, get yer tiks. David Beckham will also be there - cool! More info about the event and news sources are below. Continue Reading »

Well, she’s named as one of them!
As you’ll know numerous New Zealand stars are banding together in the performance of The Eight: Reindeer Monologues. In an article from stuff.co.nz Beth is named as one of the brains behind the idea…
The idea of uniting New Zealand’s best actors in one festive package of fun came from Beth Allen, actor Charlie McDermott and producer John Moffett who are putting the show together.
Nice job! Beth’s boyfriend Charlie (pictured here) is also acting and co-producing in the show. Amongst the cast are three former Tribe stars; Beth herself, Antonia Prebble and Fleur Saville. Full article with Beth Allen quotes can be read here and also below.

To promote the appearance of Shortland Street stars Fleur Saville and Beth Allen, the tvnz site is running a competition for Kiwis to win tickets to see the show at The Basement theatre in Auckland.
So if you’re a New Zealander and want to land the tickets, click here!
Antonia Prebble is also one of the cast members in the theatre production. (See previous post for more info).

Former Tribe gals Fleur Saville, Beth Allen (fourth and fifth from left) and Antonia Prebble (far right) will be appearing on stage in the production ‘The Eight: Reindeer Monologues’, where they’ll be giving monologues as one of santa’s reindeers, but this ain’t no kids show! It is “coarse, witty, vulgar and crude and therefore intended for mature audiences only”… It’s also unknown if they will be performing on stage together as the cast is a total of 40 people and they will alteranate throughout the dates of the performance.
More info/dates/times can be found below or by clicking here.
Basement theatre, Auckland, who will host the production is here.

In a video interview Beth Allen (Brooke Freeman in Shorty) and her Shortland Street co-star Owen Black (Ethan Pierce) answered some fan questions!
As posted here previously the Shortland Street website put out a request for viewers to send their questions in, and my question got answered!!
Check to see if your question was answered (if you submitted any). You can view the video interview by clicking here. Beth is pretty funny in the video and it’s definitely worth watching.
Also recently Beth did a radio interview with the Morning Madhouse with yet another Shorty co-star, Anna Jullienne (Maia Jefferies). You can listen to it by clicking here.
Check them out!
This is the first lot of 10 to go up, featuring Tribe cast members; Ella Wilks (Danni), Sarah Major (Patsy), Michael Wesley Smith (Jack), Victoria Spence (Salene), Amy Morrison (Zandra) and Beth Allen (Amber).
It sure is great to see how they are looking now : click here to check them out. (Or click the pics).
Those of you who were on the German translation/version of the site (here), would have seen them yesterday, but they’re up now on the both sites, for your viewing pleasure.
