Tribe cast members to feature in it are: Fleur Saville (Eve Baxter), James Napier (Jared Preston), Michelle Ang (Masako) and David Taylor (Corban). James and Fleur are in episode one above. Michelle Ang and David Taylor (Sasha in The Tribe) both feature in this episode here. Check it out, Michelle can first be seen in the TV screen and check out David’s cool mohawk! In that vid you’ll also spot Jay Bunyan (he was a Blue in series 4 of The Tribe) and Todd Emerson (who was Beanie in Atlantis High).

Michelle Ang Short Wins Another Award…

Short film ‘Take 3′, starring Michelle Ang, written and directed by Roseanne Liang, was “awarded a top prize at the 53rd Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid (Valladolid International Film Festival) in Spain on Saturday”.

According to this article here the short film won the Meeting Point Audience Award for Best Foreign Short, the top prize in this section. The Meeting Point Audience Award prize is € 5000. Nice!

Michelle Ang In ‘The Sitting’

No, it’s not a horror film!

According to the website… “The Sitting is a series of short ‘portrait’ shows celebrating well known New Zealanders and revealing little known facts about these people we think we know so well”.

In the episode “painter Marty Welch talks to actress Michelle Ang as she sits for a very personal and revealing portrait”.

The website for the series is here. Michelle features on the episode broadcasting on Wednesday 29th October. On TVNZ 6 as part of their ‘Showcase’ strand. If you live in New Zealand you can see a clip here.

Michelle Ang : Forbidden Fury [2004] : Short Film Online…

The short film Forbidden Fury was filmed in 2004 for the 48 Hour Film event, where a film is created in that time frame. It has recently appeared online on the filmaker Shahir Daud’s YouTube channel.

Michelle plays the character Terry Spears. She appears at around 2 minutes into the film.

There is an interview with former The Tribe and Neighbours’ sex kitten Michelle Ang (who played Tai-San of course!) in New Zealand’s M2 Magazine.

Not So Good News…

Trawling the gossip stuff, I came across this news on the lovely Michelle Ang (The Tribe’s Tai-San)… Not the kind of news we like to hear.

Two Outrageous Fortune stars are recovering after being viciously mugged in Los Angeles. Aidee Walker and Michelle Ang were walking home from a night out when they were approached by four guys in baggy clothes and bandanas. “I was so scared,” Michelle tells WD. “My fear and adrenaline kept me holding onto my bag until they threw me on the pavement.” A true Westie would have put up more of a fight than that.

Michelle Ang In South Of Nowhere

I’ve uploaded a video clip of Michelle, The Tribe’s Tai-San, in the American show South Of Nowhere. View it below…

The clips are from the double bill of episodes one and two of the third season. The episodes are called “The Valley of the Shadows” and “Can’t Buy Me Love”. They premiered on channel “The N!” on 10th August 2007.

In South Of Nowhere, Michelle plays a news reporter/journalist named Lily, who is making a documentary on a school shooting, which happened in the finale in the previous season. Season 3 of South Of Nowhere looks great!
