(The Tribe’s Trudy) and Gareth Williams
(Vettius in Spartacus : Gods Of The Arena – an amazing must see series!) were joint MC’s at Wellington’s Cup Day
at Trentham Racecource on 28th January.
In an interview with The Dominion Post she told about how she has never been to he races before. Also mentioning she spent early January holidaying in Mumbai, India, visiting friends. (I’ve pasted the article below).
During the event, Antonia had three wardrobe changes. The pics show two of of them…

took on the role of fashion journalist for the 2011 New Zealand Fashion Week
(29th August – 3rd September), reporting for The New Zealand Herald
. She also modelled for fashion label Brady
(by designer Theresa Brady). Check out the video of Antonia modelling and reporting for Brady below…
Speaking to Bronwyn Williams
(Stuff.co.nz/Life & Style writer), Antonia Prebble said the following: “It’s like my dream job, I’ve taken over from Noelle [McCarthy], who has gone back to Ireland. They [NZ Herald] asked me to do it, and I was like ‘why not?’”
Check out these fabulous fashion shots of Vicky Rodewyk

The photos are of Vicky modelling the Winter 2011 collection.
As well as playing Gel in The Tribe, the sexy actor/dancer/model/choreographer is known amongst fan-boys for her brief role in Power Rangers : Jungle Fury playing the character Gabby.

I’m… Er… Lost for words. See video.
Okay recovered yet?
This is a music video for the song ‘Roman Sandals‘ by Mr. Roberelli (from the album Does The Bus Stop Here). The video features Shortland Street hunk Ari Boyland (who plays Brodie Kemp) lip-syncing his way through the song. The video was produced and directed by fellow Shortland Streeter Kiel McNaughton (who plays Scotty).
The video ‘Roman Sandals’ would no doubt appeal to New Zealanders as it seems as though (from my, er, research) they have all at one point or other have adorned a pair of this footgear.
Uhm. Well. Er. Final comment… I’m liking the shorts Ari :D
Miriama Smith played Moz in The Tribe series 3. As well as acting, she is known in New Zealand for hosting shows, parties and just being a fab celeb. In January she spoke to Emily Smith for Gloss magazine in the article ‘What’s in her handbag?’.
Find out about Miriama’s favourite products and what she’s currently reading in the article, online at Gloss’ website, here.
is heading up a new online show in New Zealand for TVNZ, The Libra Design Project
The online series is looking for five/six young, fresh designers to feature, they will compete for a chance to win a fashion show featuring their own original collection aswell as $1,000 cash and other great prizes. Making the experience interactive, viewers have the chance to vote for their favourite designer each week, and also win prizes.
TVNZ have dubbed Jessie as “A perfect fusion of high fashion and reality TV, The Libra Design Project is an ideal fit for Jessie, who is a recognised fashionista in her own right”, too right!
If you live in New Zealand and have a flare for fashion design click here to apply for the show.
Hot on the heels from the Outrageous Fortune finale, TV 1 will be broadcasting the tele-movie Spies & Lies
, which features Antonia Prebble
(Loretta West) as Mavis. Also in the movie is her fellow OF cast member Antony Starr (Jethro/Van West) who is in the lead role playing Syd Ross.
Spies & Lies has been described as “a ripping yarn based on a humorous true story of conspiracy, incompetence, and an extraordinary hoax that challenged the highest levels of New Zealand government”. The story is set in 1942, where Syd (Starr) convinces the New Zealand Government there is a Nazi take-over being planned… Well one thing is certain, Antonia Prebble is looking stunning in her period costume.
She’s definitely working the phones!
If you are in New Zealand tune in to TV1 on Sunday 14th at 8:30pm. Many thanks to the awesome peeps at South Pacific Pictures publicity department for providing the photos. Antonia was photographed by Jae Frew. More pics at AntoniaPrebble.com.
Tribe fans will be happy to know that Nick Miller (Pride) is also in the feature presentation, playing a policeman, hopefully we’ll get screenshots of him once it has aired.
(who was Dawn in The Tribe 1 & 2) is helping out with the Dove Pink Star Walk
– a charity event to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
On the evening of Saturday 2 October 2010 the 5km charity fun walk will take place in Auckland and will accumulate in a spectacular pink fireworks display! The walk is open to all, men, women and children.
Jessie Gurunathan will be performing with The Velvet Sound Society at the event. Jess has also done an interview with KimberleyCrossman.com – the interview is quiet good, an interesting look at one of the many actors who have had brief performances in The Tribe.
The gorgeous pink flowery dress that Jess is wearing in the pic is by NZ designer Sera Lilly and will be given away on NZ TV’s Good Morning show.
For more info on the Dove Pink Star Walk, please visit their website or Facebook. Image of Jessie from Facebook. Continue reading…
Last week was New Zealand Fashion Week 2010
(NZFW2010 : September 21st-25th). Antonia Prebble
was there amongst the celebs enjoying the shows.
On day one Antonia Prebble was at Sera Lilly’s
catwalk show, she is pictured here
(far right) with Samantha Hayes and Rachel Smalley. Antonia also attended Kathryn Wilson’s
footwear show, which she talks about it in the video below… (Sorry for the poor quality!)
On day two Antonia found herself walking on the catwalk
as she wore a outfit by Kate Sylvester
(the photo is a bit overexposed).
Talking about being over exposed… The lovely Sally Martin (who was Kandy in The Tribe 4 and currently the ‘sexy lesbian’ Nicole Miller in Shortland Street), took part in the glamorous Phoenix House Of Make-Up show by Phoenix Cosmetics. Check out pictures of Sally, who was wearing sparkling lingerie and Swarovski Crystals in the Phoenix show at the-A-List. There’s more pics of Sally backstage at the show, with her fellow Shortland Street cast mates Faye Smythe and Kimberley Crossman on the A List.
