The Tribe Cast @ The “I’m Not Harry Jenson” Movie Premiere

The Tribe Cast at the I'm Not Harry Jenson movie premiere in Auckland

Thank fuck for Norrie Montgomery and theAlist! – Pardon my language ;)

On July 23rd The Tribe cast were out in force, at the SkyCity theatre in Auckland, to support (those sexy Techno’s) James Napier Robertson and Tom Hern at their film premiere I’m Not Harry Jenson.  Check the photos out below…

The highlight is definitely a pic of the gorgeous Vicky Rodewyk (The Tribe’s Gel), I think Jeana is her sister who is also in the pic? There’s also a lovely one of Beth Allen with Antonia Prebble as well a pic of the ever so sassy Shortland Street star Fleur Saville (Tribe’s Ruby) with NZ celeb mates Amanda Billing and Anna Jullienne – there were alot of NZ stars at the event. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves, as well as the movie itself.

Meryl Cassie was also at the event but sadly there’s no photo of her. She did however mention on her Facebook that she enjoyed the premiere. [I'm sure she won't mind the FB link posted here as she like's to keep contact with fans]. For more pics from the premiere of other attendees check out theAlist.

From Flicks.co.nz:

Auckland will also host the world premiere and debut for writer/director James Napier Robertson with his backwoods thriller I’m Not Harry Jenson. Produced by Tom Hern and starring Gareth Reeves, Renato Bartolomei (from Shortland Street fame), Ian Mune and Ilona Rodgers the film tells the story of a bad case of writer’s block and is set in the Waitakere ranges.

The Last Great Snail Chase : Movie Premiere

Michael Wesley Smith in The Last Great Snail Chase with Sally Martin

The movie The Last Great Snail Chase, has both Caleb Ross and Michael Wesley Smith (Lex and Jack from The Tribe) in roles. Sally Martin, who played Kandy in a guest role in The Tribe series 4, plays a lead role in the movie. She also played Tori Hanson – the Blue Wind Ranger – in Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

Caleb plays the character Rob, Michael plays Daniel and Sally as Josie. The film was filmed in 2006/2007. I guess it’s release took so long due to the special effects. A good thing however is if you turn up at the premiere as a snail, you get free tickets!
