I'm Harry Jenson... Are You?

I'm Harry Jenson
To mark the nationwide release of the movie I’m Not Harry Jenson in New Zealand, there’s a series of promotional going ons over on Facebook. Included is the chance to have your name appear in the official DVD release for the movie made by James Napier Robertson and Tom Hern (aka The Tribe’s Techno boys Jay and Ram). So, your name will be in the DVD credits to their movie! How cool is that?

All you have to do is become Harry Jenson for one week on your Facebook account, wether it be in name or spirit. Click here for more details. I’m doing it and it is all good fun! ;D And hey, why not also mention tribeHeaven when you sign-up to your journey into Harry?!

And those who are willing to go a step further can drop a H-Bomb on the unsuspecting public. What is a H-Bomb? A H-Bomb is when a group of people turn up to a busy, public place and spontaneously start to shout ‘I”m Not Harry Jenson!” “Are you Harry Jenson?” and the like.

Here’s a video of James Napier and gang showing how a Harry Bomb is done: YouTube Preview Image

The best H-Bomb vid will win a credit in the films DVD, have their H-Bomb video appear on the DVD as well as win a huge signed movie poster, signed by the cast and crew, so I guess that includes signings by Tom, James, Gareth Reeves, Ian Mune and other hot NZ talent. There’s also runner up prizes too…

So wether you’re a movie fan, a James Napier fan, a Tom Hern fan, a Tribe fan, a Power Rangers fan… Whereve you live, get involved! The movie itself hits cinemas in New Zealand on 28th January 2010. There’s a special limited screening on 25th January at the Newmarket Rialto Cinema where you can meet and greet cast and crew, including Tom Hern. For more info and to book, click here.

The official I’m Not Harry Jenson website also had a makeover last year, check it out!
All the best – Harry. ;)

The Tribe Cast @ The “I’m Not Harry Jenson” Movie Premiere

The Tribe Cast at the I'm Not Harry Jenson movie premiere in Auckland

Thank fuck for Norrie Montgomery and theAlist! – Pardon my language ;)

On July 23rd The Tribe cast were out in force, at the SkyCity theatre in Auckland, to support (those sexy Techno’s) James Napier Robertson and Tom Hern at their film premiere I’m Not Harry Jenson.  Check the photos out below…

The highlight is definitely a pic of the gorgeous Vicky Rodewyk (The Tribe’s Gel), I think Jeana is her sister who is also in the pic? There’s also a lovely one of Beth Allen with Antonia Prebble as well a pic of the ever so sassy Shortland Street star Fleur Saville (Tribe’s Ruby) with NZ celeb mates Amanda Billing and Anna Jullienne – there were alot of NZ stars at the event. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves, as well as the movie itself.

Meryl Cassie was also at the event but sadly there’s no photo of her. She did however mention on her Facebook that she enjoyed the premiere. [I'm sure she won't mind the FB link posted here as she like's to keep contact with fans]. For more pics from the premiere of other attendees check out theAlist.

Tom Hern ‘Stoked’ About Movie ‘I’m Not Harry Jenson’…

Tom Hern played Ram in The Tribe In an article in NZ paper Western Leader, Tom Hern talks about producing the film I’m Not Harry Jenson and working with James Robertson Napier. The guys starred together in The Tribe series 4 & 5 as Techno’s  Ram & Jay and alongside each other in Power Rangers Dino Thunder as Devin Del Valle and Conner McKnight.

On working with James on I’m Not Harry Jenson, Tom said the following:

After years of doing television together we decided to start working on a script – something we’d be proud of. So we decided we’d do it 100 percent independently, outside of the normal funding routes such as the New Zealand Film Commission.

Tom ends the interview by saying he has currently got three scripts in development! Busy guy. I’m Not Harry Jenson premieres on July 22nd, more on that here. Well done to Tom and James on the film and all the best with the premiere guys! The full article/interview with Tom Hern can be read here and below.
