Meryl Cassie is set to entertain at, The Tribe creator, Raymond Thompson’s vineyard on November 20th 2011.
As part of Toast Martinborough, a wine, food and entertainment festival, Raymond Thompson will be hosting a party at his vineyard Tirohana Estate. Kudos to Raymond Thompson for booking Meryl to entertain the attendees. Also performing at the event are Livewire and Drew Neemia, who had a guest role in The Tribe as Fisheye.
Meryl Cassie and Drew Neemia have previously performed together in The Jono Project and Christmas In The Park 2008.

Antonia Prebble is hosting the SmokeFreeRockQuest (SFRQ) shows on TV in New Zealand.
SFRQ aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and at the same time find a top new, unsigned, NZ band in the process. The evnt is aimed at youths.
Antonia aswell as hosting the TV series has appeared at live SFRQ events. The TV show began on Saturday, October 15th, at 5:30pm. On Four.

Jessie Gurunathan, who played Dawn in The Tribe 1 & 2, is known in NZ for her work in reality TV/reporter/presenter. Currently she is featured on a track by Bulletproof, entitled Dub Me Crazy, going under the moniker of Jessie G. Check out the video below:

Jessie G is no stranger music, she performs as part of The Velvet Sound Society as well as working behind the camera on music videos for the production company Fish ‘n’ Clips (she produced the video for P-Money’s Dance With You that featured Meryl Cassie).
Jessie G is planning to release her own EP later this year. Dub Me Crazy by Bulletproof feat. Jessie G is out now in New Zealand.

Matt Robinson, is known amongst Tribe fans as being part of the British band Last Picture Show. Well lately Matt has been working on a solo EP release, entitled ‘Awakenings’, which is due out later this year.

Tom Hern (The Tribe’s Ram) has been a busy guy lately…

Tom made an appearance at The Tribe online gathering, where he answered fan question, you can read a transcript of his chat on Tribeworld.com. In the interview he mentions they (himself and James Napier) are negotiating the journey of their movie I’m Not Harry Jenson to America.
In April this year Tom Hern shot the (short) film A Bend In The Road (producer: Gemma Freeman, writer/director: Rollo Wenlock, pictured on the right), playing the character Brett.

Finally to television, Tom is playing a role in the New Zealand TV series Underbelly NZ: The Land of the Long Green Cloud (Underbelly season 4, directed by Mike Smith/Ric Pellizzeri). Playing the role of Billy Kirby.

The Te Papa museum in Wellington are presenting a series of shows/events for the Matariki festival (Māori New Year). One of the events organised is the Seven Sisters Day, a free day of music and entertainment at The Marae on 11th June.
The fabulous Vanessa Stacey (who played Alice in The Tribe), has been named as the MC for the event, she will be hosting the day. We know she has good presenting skills from her brief time in the UK on The Core.
Vanessa has a part with the group Whiskey & Sly. More recently she has been seen billed as a solo artist performing the blues and gospel music. In April she performed at “The Gospel According To…” event in Wellington.
You can keep up with Vanessa on mySpace, there’s also some music you can listen to on there, I particularly like the track Brother – check it out!

Meryl Cassie is no longer solo as she has recently joined the New Zealand cover group Contagious as the female vocals of the band, the cool move will see her perform live regularly.
As well as her solo projects Meryl will be performing with the Auckland based Contagious. They are the resident band at the Cock & Bull pub chain and do shows in Botany Downs, Ellerslie, Lynfield, Hamilton and Newmarket – which is great news for Meryl fans as it’ll mean regular performances from her, yay!
