Last week was New Zealand Fashion Week 2010 (NZFW2010 : September 21st-25th). Antonia Prebble was there amongst the celebs enjoying the shows.
On day one Antonia Prebble was at Sera Lilly’s catwalk show, she is pictured here (far right) with Samantha Hayes and Rachel Smalley. Antonia also attended Kathryn Wilson’s footwear show, which she talks about it in the video below… (Sorry for the poor quality!)
On day two Antonia found herself walking on the catwalk as she wore a outfit by Kate Sylvester (the photo is a bit overexposed).
Talking about being over exposed… The lovely Sally Martin (who was Kandy in The Tribe 4 and currently the ‘sexy lesbian’ Nicole Miller in Shortland Street), took part in the glamorous Phoenix House Of Make-Up show by Phoenix Cosmetics. Check out pictures of Sally, who was wearing sparkling lingerie and Swarovski Crystals in the Phoenix show at the-A-List. There’s more pics of Sally backstage at the show, with her fellow Shortland Street cast mates Faye Smythe and Kimberley Crossman on the A List.

Check out Beth Allen and Lee Donoghue in the awesome new trailer for Shortland Street’s Winter 2010 Season. It looks very dark, brooding and mysterious… Check it out:

Lee Donoghue (Spike in The Tribe 2) plays Hunter McKay in the medical soap drama and Beth Allen (The Tribe’s Amber) plays Dr. Brooke Freeman. Sally Martin is also in the video, she plays nurse Nicole Miller in Shortland Street, she had a brief role in The Tribe series 4 as Kandi (a girl paid to seduce Lex).
With thanks to TribalMadonna/BethAllen.Webs for the info. [This post has been back dated]

With summer heading towards New Zealand, cast members of Shortland Street have been interviewed about their summers past and tips for getting ready for the one coming! Amongst them are Beth Allen (Tribe’s Amber/Shortland Streets Brooke Freeman), Lee Donoghue (Spike in The Tribe/Hunter McKay in Shorty) and Sally Martin (Kandy in Tribe 4 / Shorty’s Nicole Miller) . Their interviews feature on this page of the Shortland Street website and are also pasted below.

Last week there was an article on the Shortland Street website where the cast talked about their Father’s for a NZ Father’s Day special… Beth Allen (Brooke Freeman in Shorty/Tribe’s Amber) talked about her pops who definitely sounds like a top bloke, the article is here and pasted below. Also on the Shorty website were a few lovely pics of Fleur Saville (Libby Jeffries in Shorty/Tribe 5′s Ruby) posing on a new set design, check the pics out here and here.
And just a final bit of news, Sally Martin, who had a brief role in series 4 of The Tribe as ‘paid for bimbo’ Kandy, is joining the cast of Shortland Street. I’m not sure if she will be a permanent fixture though. Her most well known character to date is the Blue Wind Ranger, Tori Hanson, in Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Continue reading…

The movie The Last Great Snail Chase, has both Caleb Ross and Michael Wesley Smith (Lex and Jack from The Tribe) in roles. Sally Martin, who played Kandy in a guest role in The Tribe series 4, plays a lead role in the movie. She also played Tori Hanson – the Blue Wind Ranger – in Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

Caleb plays the character Rob, Michael plays Daniel and Sally as Josie. The film was filmed in 2006/2007. I guess it’s release took so long due to the special effects. A good thing however is if you turn up at the premiere as a snail, you get free tickets!

Vanessa Stacey features in the big budget, special-effect loaded, TV movie Aftershock. The two hour TV movie follows the events in Wellington, New Zealand, when an earthquake hits and a tsunami causes havoc on several people and their families. Vanessa is credited as playing a woman, but as she is credited I assume she had a speaking role.
The drama was broadcast on 8th October 2009. I’m not sure, but I think Vanessa is the woman pictured on the right in the picture, wearing the white coat.
Aftershock also stars Sally Martin, who played Kandy in series 4 of The Tribe, as the character Bess.
