In a charity event for the
Rescue Helicopter Trust, New Zealand celebs, including
Beth Allen (Brooke Freeman in Shortland Street/The Tribe’s Amber) will be piloting a Boeing 737 flight simulator. And you can be sitting right next to her as the co-pilot!
A flight simulator is the experience of flying a plane without actually being in one. On Saturday 10th April one lucky person will meet Beth Allen and join her in the flight simulator, Beth will be acting as the pilot and the other person co-pilot. To be that lucky person you have to win an online charity auction (yep it’ll cost you – but it’s for a good cause!). The auction is online @ Sella.co.nz. It would also help if you lived in New Zealand!
You can read a profile about the lovely Beth Allen at WorldFlight.co.nz (pasted below) and find out more about the charity Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust here. There’s also a press release here. Continue reading…

There’s a cool interview with
Beth Allen in New Zealand’s

What’s the craziest dress-up costume you’ve ever worn?
I wore some pretty crazy stuff when I was on The Tribe as a teenager….calfskin suits, huge combat boots and lots of feathers.
Too read the full article pop over to BethAllen.Webs, also check out the site’s cool new look! Images from Shortland Street. This post has been back dated.
