Tom Hern ‘Stoked’ About Movie ‘I’m Not Harry Jenson’…

Tom Hern played Ram in The Tribe In an article in NZ paper Western Leader, Tom Hern talks about producing the film I’m Not Harry Jenson and working with James Robertson Napier. The guys starred together in The Tribe series 4 & 5 as Techno’s  Ram & Jay and alongside each other in Power Rangers Dino Thunder as Devin Del Valle and Conner McKnight.

On working with James on I’m Not Harry Jenson, Tom said the following:

After years of doing television together we decided to start working on a script – something we’d be proud of. So we decided we’d do it 100 percent independently, outside of the normal funding routes such as the New Zealand Film Commission.

Tom ends the interview by saying he has currently got three scripts in development! Busy guy. I’m Not Harry Jenson premieres on July 22nd, more on that here. Well done to Tom and James on the film and all the best with the premiere guys! The full article/interview with Tom Hern can be read here and below.

I’m Not Harry Jenson : Neither Is Tom Or James!

Tom Hern, plays Kevin in I’m Not Harry Jenson The former Tribe Techno boys, James Napier (Jay) and Tom Hern (Ram), have been listed in a new movie on imdb – I’m Not Harry Jenson. In the film Tom Hern plays the role of Kevin and James [Robertson] Napier plays an interviewer.

You may recall previously the guys collaborated on a movie called The Devil’s Run, well I think this is the same exact movie, but renamed.

The photo here of Tom is a new one that has cropped up on imdb, I think it is associated with this movie, though I’m not entirely sure. But I have to say, I find that facial hair rather hot!

[EDIT: The movie also stars Gareth Reeves he was in series 2 of The Tribe as The Hunga, appearing in episodes 25 and 26]

James Napier & Tom Hern Movie Collab.

the-devils-run-logo.gifJames Napier and Tom Hern, they worked together in The Tribe as Techno’s Jay and Ram, now the guys have been working on a movie, namely Devil’s Run.

You can visit the movie’s website here.

From the site:

“TDR is a character driven psychological-thriller set to be shot against the backdrop of the beautiful native bush of New Zealand in April 2008″.

The script was written by James Napier Robertson and one of it’s producers is Tom Hern. I think James Napier is also directing it.
