I’ve spotted an interesting article about the movie I’m Not Harry Jenson here. It looks like Tom Hern and James Napier have called their production company Six String Pictures and the trailer for their first movie collaboration is available now, check it out below…

Judging from the trailer the movie looks pretty intense and although they had a small budget it looks like it is a high quality production. The film is by James Robertson Napier and the production by Tom Hern. Their website though, ImNotHarryJenson.com, currently seems to redirect to the film premiere information page on the New Zealand film festival site. [edit] As of 20th July 2009 the website is live with new content! Continue reading…

The 2008 short film Take 3 (aka Auditions I Have Known) by director Roseanne Liang has had an excerpt put online, check it out below. It stars Michelle Ang (Tribe’s Tai-San / Neighbours’ Lori Lee / Xena’s Akemi) as the character Melanie Shum…

The rest of the cast are as follows: Li Ming Hu as Lisa Fong, Katlyn Wong as Kaylee Hing, Justine Hunter as Casting Director (Doctor), Michael Lowe as Casting Director (Ninja), Toby Sharpe as Casting Director (Schoolgirl) and Richard Thompson as Casting Director (Bootygirls). The short follows three asian girls on a series of auditions. This post has been back dated.
I’m a bit behind with the Power Rangers news (again!)… Well, here’s the trailer for R.P.M featuring Ari Boyland as the Blue Ranger, named Flynn (very Aussie sounding!).
The trailer looks a bit like a Matrix/Terminator/Stargate mash-up, before going into the usual Power Ranger fare… I think it’s fan-made? Though the quality isn’t high, Ari sure looks good!
For screencaps and more up to date stuff on Ari in Power Rangers R.P.M (Racing Performance Machines) keep an eye out on AriBoyland.com, as I won’t be posting much else on his role now… Unless there’s a few topless scenes – hee heeĀ (- wishful thinking!), there’ll be posts if there are any of The Tribe cast in guest roles this season though (- again wishful thinking!).
Have a good weekend, hope you like the new look on the blog! Also you can now subscribe by e-mail (on the right) to get updates of new postings, so you don’t have to visit here often, though I much love your visits! ; )

The sexy singer/actress star is featured in the P-Money (otherwise known as Peter Wadams) movie music video Angels… It follows on from her previous collab with the artist when she appeared in his music video for Everything, a 2008 No.1 dance track in New Zealand. In the “movie” Angels she plays the girlfriend to his lead character. Check out the trailer below. She’s fab!
Angels appears to be an actual movie, the trailer features scenes suggesting it is of a supernatural/horror nature and last year Meryl did mention she was filming a horror shoot… But P-Money’s blog states the trailer as, “A movie trailer concept for the P-Money recording ‘Angels’; Starring Peter Wadams, Meryl Cassie, Donald Holder & Dirk Peterson”… So it definitely makes it one ellaborate music video!
The release date for the music track ‘Angels’ is today in New Zealand (or you could say it was yesterday given the time difference!)… Marketing for the single involved putting the official looking ‘movie’ posters around New Zealand. Leaving the question, is there really going to be a P-Money flick?
Check out the official website for the ‘film’ Angels at: www.angelsthemovie.net where you can watch the trailer in high quality (perfect for screen capping!). More pics of Meryl and behind the scenes photos can be found on P-Money’s Bebo.

The trailer for the movie Animal Butterfly which stars James Napier (Jay in The Tribe/Conner McKnight – Red Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Thunder) as Jake Butterfly is up on YouTube, check it out below. According to his agency, the movie was filmed in 2003. It is as yet unreleased.

There is a trailer up on youTube for the independant film starring James Napier (Techno ‘hunk of spunk’ Jay in The Tribe!), unfortunately the video can’t be put up on here, so click here to view it :)
Who starred as Trudy in the Tribe has curently finished filming Outrageous Fortune Series 3, watch a Teaser Trailer from YouTube…
The new series starts in New Zealand on 17th July 2007.
Movie trailer is shown, Dwayne appears at 50 seconds in.
Dwayne Cameron plays the character Troy in the movie, starring alongside well seasoned actor John Savage. More info about the movie and it’s film festival tour dates can be found on the mySpace page here. It looks great and has had some great reviews, it’s on IMDB here. It’s just playing at festivals though.
