Five in the UK are launching their brand new high definition TV channel tomorrow! Exclusive to Sky HD subscribers, you can get Five HD on channel 171.
And guess what, the first ever programme to broadcast on the new Five HD channel is… The New Tomorrow!
The channel are not broadcasting the series from the beginning, they will be showing the same episode that is being broadcast on the normal non-HD channel Five at 5:10am. But hey, well done to Cloud 9′s The New Tomorrow for getting to be the first ever show to be broadcast on Five HD.
The New Tomorrow will be one, of a few, handful of shows being broadcast on Five HD as it was filmed in HD. The channel will only broadcast shows that are available in HD as they appear on the normal non-HD channel.
Maybe they will show the series again from the beginning on Five HD to fill in the large gaps in between their broadcast schedule?

Wahey a new New Tomorrow post for 2009! Here’s an autographed postcard from Rafe Custance, Lara Custance’s brother, who played Dan in TNT. With thanks to Scott for supplying the scan, he won the autographed card in competition on The New Tomorrow website back when it was up and running. Cheers for the scan dude
If you look, the ‘F’ in ‘Rafe’ is curly so it kinda looks like he wrote ‘RAPE’, I assure you it says ‘RAFE’…
It’s never too late to contribute anything to the section. If you have anything TNT related you’d like to add, feel free to e-mail me at shabbs@tribeheaven.co.uk – thanks.
