From Tribeworld’s Newsletter…

From Tribeworld’s Tribe Newsletter, 26th August 2005:

A young cast member unfortunately missed out on their school’s talent show so he brought his little performance to set. He was dressed up as a little pink marshmallow and had a delightful song to go with it! Everyone loved it! And he still got to do his performance even if it wasn’t at school!

A new Tribe also joined the cast this week and there were quite a few stunts earlier in the week including some stunts using a lasso. This was couriered especially for a scene – can’t wait to see what that involved!

From Tribeworld, 22nd August 2005:

The New Tomorrow – Shooting Continues!
Last week all the cast and their families and the crew gathered together to watch the first two episodes. The screening was held in a theatre on a huge screen and everyone loved it! There was lots of cheering for each of the cast and everyone had a great time!

We also had a couple of Tribe fans visit the studios for a tour. One was from Germany and the other from Essex in the UK. They got a sneak peak of the filming and the behind the scenes action!

News Round Up…

From the Hutt International Boys School 20th June 2005:

Cloud 9 Production ‘The New Tomorrow’A number of our students are involved in filming with the Cloud 9 Production, “The New Tomorrow”. Cameron Wakefield won a major role (he is working hard on the set full time for 15weeks), and speaking and continuity roles were awarded to Joshua Tukua, Andrew Miller and Andrew Brown. Students from 8B have been heavily involved in the filming of stage one which isalready selling internationally and are about to launch into stage 2 of this series. Congratulations to these boys – they have put us on the map and are highly regarded by the producers as being natural and creative young actors.

From Tribeworld’s Newsletter 29th July 2005:

We can’t believe there are only a few weeks to go! There was a big production meeting today to discuss the third block which is episodes 16-20. The production meeting involves going through all the sets, scenes and locations with all the heads of department. They run through how many extra’s are needed on which days and schedule which days will be shot at which location. They also discuss animal wrangling requirements and we can tell you there is a pony in the next block and there were some gorgeous little chicks on set this week.

From Tribeworld News 25th July 2005:

We did a parallel day last Thursday. That means that there were two crews out shooting in two different locations. There were also lots of extra’s required. Last week was also a big week for stunts. The cast practiced with the stunt coordinator the day before and then again just before the scene. There were some great camera angles to capture the action and they looked great!

That’s all.
