Episode 5 of The New Tomorrow!!!

Lol, I’m getting into the series now, it’s neat!!!

Was it me or did the Guardian’s ‘Power and Chaos’ bird make a special appearance in this ep? Lol…

Harmony was on top form in episode five, the ice queen rules! Telling Gwyn off, telling Magdar off, trying to sort Shadow and Flame out… Right little madam she is.

I’m liking Erin and Leanne more and more, they make me laugh!!! So much like KC in series 1. It’s the funny moments which made me like The Tribe when it first started…

Sky and Zora are awesome in any scene they’re in together. And Dan is just another funny one. So it looks like little red riding hood is leaving the Ants to join the the Barbs. Cute :D

Omar is a strange fellow who seems to be carrying the weight of The Tribe on his shoulders. I think he ought to lighten up a bit more!

Only annoying thing about the episode was the crow! I’ve had enough of that crow!!! *fetches gun*

TNT In Germany, New Pics & Episode Four…

Click here to check out a new article from the German magazine ‘Popcorn’, it looks pretty cool.
From the looks of things, KIKA will be showing The New Tomorrow in 2006! Fantastic news! Correct me if I’m wrong, but the person who wrote the article seems to think Faygar is a boy named Kwarli! Hmm…

Check out the downloads section for more new New Tomorrow pics, featuring Sky (Nick Fenton), Cass (Paige Shand-Haami), Faygar (Zoë Robins) and Leanne (Katie Alexander). Images (c) Cloud 9 Ltd.

I was going to write a post about episode four, but to be honest, not much happened in it, lol, it was a bit of a slow one… Discard Magdar becomes Gwyn’s slave and Erin comes face to face, or should that be face to metal, with a ‘machine’. Phew, a close one. Sky and Zora meanwhile get closer with a bit of fishing… Oh and little red riding hood, aka Dan, leaves the Ants.

Thanks to Jessica/Julia for the article link/scan.

Episode Three Of TNT!

Great Zoot!
I’m getting behind on this site, just had to say the series is getting better and better.

I don’t know about you guys, but there’s Cass is so alike to Trudy, the looks and the maternal behaviour (well okay Trudy was a bad mother to begin but she settled in the role). If Brady was in TNT, who knows she could end up being Cass.

Anyway back to the episode, the only annoying thing was Kwarli, the voice he puts on was too forced at times. But hey, it looks like Kwarli got himself a girl, maybe a relationship between him and Cass is on the cards. Romeo and Juliet anyone? I wonder how far relationships in TNT will go?

The brother and sister duo Erin and Leane seem less annoying and are more endearing aswell as entertaining, but hopefully we won’t see them too much as an overdose of the cute stuff will be sickening.

Zora is still brilliant as ever and the little face off between her and Faygar, was great! Looks like there is alot of history there, Faygar the fake might not seem all she’s cracked up to be. But what sort of past did the girls have and how do they know each other?

Shadow meanwhile seems to have the most power in this new Tribeworld, as he has control over the Warps and the Discarded! How soon will he realise this!?!

The little preview of episode 4 was neat, Omar finally gets his chance to dig into Sky, should be good. We also found out that Sky was ‘found’ as a child, which gives of the assumption that his mother and father were not around to raise him… Interesting stuff.

Oh and want to see my impression of Sky?!?!
*raises eyebrows and smugly smiles*
Wait, did you miss it?!?!
*raises eyebrows and smugly grins*

Can’t have an episode without it…
Try it yourself! :D

Episode Two Of The New Tomorrow!

Oooh it was alright.

No turnips, thankfully. But Omar and Sky… A fight’s brewing there.

The photo of the Mall was a nice touch, there were also more mentions of The Tribe’s Zoot and Bray. The play by the Ants was alright. The kids seem to have alot of knowledge about what Zoot and Bray looked like, they got Bray’s make-up right after all.
Oh and again more references towards ‘the wandering’ (what happened??!).

Anyway, if the Mall Rats are well known throughout the land, then surely the name, teachings and phophecies of the Chosen would have lived on, so there ought to be a loyal following of Zoot somewhere.

The whole nose measuring thing with the Privilidges was a bit weird, the chalk boards and the numbering system also seemed pretty primitive. Who taught the kids how to read and write? Hmm.

It’s also a shame there wasn’t much of Zora today, apart from her pausing in the woods. The ending was a tad bit disappointing. I’d have prefered it if Sal found a dead pig, now that’d be good drama! Something to keep us hanging on to our seats…

All in all, it was alright. I think the series is pretty fast paced though, and a shame the episodes are not longer!

The New Tomorrow Zora and SkyFound a new pic of Zora and Sky, could it be the look of love for The New Tomorrow’s very own Amber and Bray?

… Okay, maybe not. Pic taken from Channel 5’s Advance Programme Info file for episode 4

There’s also new big pics in the downloads section today, check ‘em out, they’re good for making your own wallpapers or using as wallpapers, whichever you prefer. Images © Cloud 9 Ltd.

Phwoar!

Wasn’t the first episode cool!!!

The only part I didn’t like was ‘the machines’ but it makes you wonder who is controlling them…

It was weird seeing only little peeps, but it seemed alright. And Harmony, I so reckon she is Brady!

The music in the end credits was disappointing, they should have had a funky music track rather than a chilled out music version of Tribe Spirit. Oh well.

The references to Zoot and Bray were a tad bit corny, praising Bray for protection against Zoot. Hmm… And ‘the great wandering’ seems to be similar to references in The Tribe of ‘the loneliness’ (we hear about it but don’t really know what happened)… Who knows when we’ll find out what did happen?

Like The Tribe there are strong female leads, Zora, Faygar and Cass. But Harmony seems to be dominated by Flame, a bit like a Zoot/Ebony thing there. Omar and Sky a bit like Lex and Bray…

But yeah! Bring on more!!!

More fan reviews are on eyeboards in a post by the Shake presenter Dave, here. And also another one here. Oh bugger it, just visit that forum!

… The preview of episode two made me cringe a bit, sort of reminded me of when Bray, Lex and Ebony did a puppet show in series 3… Looked interesting though, but I was really expecting reference to Zoot and Bray to appear later on in the series.
